September 28 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
A 10 Week Zen Buddhist Class Series for ages 16-30.
Zen is a wholehearted embodied way of engaging one’s life, including the domains of society, ecology, and psychology. Zen does not shy away from the challenges of anxiety, depression, climate justice, and systemic racism, but instead responds with grace, resilience, and tenderness. 30 Below is designed for people aged 16-30 who wish to experience Zen practice and learn from its basic teachings. The class will cover Zen meditation, rituals and philosophy from an integrated Buddhist perspective. The group affirms an equity social justice lens and teaches an engaged Buddhist perspective.
