Fourth of July Interdependence Retreat
July 1 – 5 – Wed evening thru Sun lunch
Location: Empty Field Zendo
Cost: $120 Registration
Led by: Abby Mushin Terris of Corvallis Zen Circle and Seido
Come join us for our sixth annual silent meditation retreat as we explore the theme of our mutual interdependence that is expressed so beautifully in nature. The retreat schedule includes silent meditation in and out of the zendo, as well as mindful activity during mealtime, work, and rest periods. Daily dharma talks and private meetings with the teachers will also be offered.
Retreat participants have the option of tenting or sleeping in the zendo and should come prepared for a rustic camp setting. This retreat is suitable for beginners with some meditation experience. Wednesday evening begins with a thorough orientation to the setting and retreat rituals before we enter into the silent period.
